This is the perfect app for me to use when I want to create that blur effect of pro cameras. It works perfect on my iPhone SE. The app is easy to use and the interface is very simple and practical.

I’m on the iPhone 6s and just purchased this and it works amazing I love it I can edit focal points better then my blade Zmax does with its bokeh camera feature I recommend this app u can zoom in close to get them good edges and if u use a touch pen it may even work better..

This is an amazing app but When ever I import a picture it freezes and just Close the app and goes back to my home page!

It worked for one picture and it worked great but now when I try to edit a photo, I get a black screen and it crashes and takes me back to my home page🤦🏽‍♀️ what a waist of 99 cents

Every time I try to import a photo from my library I get a black screen, this app is useless to me.

I rarely, rarely pay for apps because of how unreliable they can be and the ones that you can’t test out first, I’m always hesitant to buy. After some self convincing the past few days, I chose to pay for it since it was only a dollar. So far, the happy rules out the unhappy, but i’ve only had the app for about 10 minutes. Considering I’ve already had issues, I’m worried I might change my thoughts. UNHAPPY - Literally, the first picture I went to open to edit went black screen and then crashed. Second attempt, same thing. I then tried to take a picture which worked out fine, as well as, select a different picture in my photo library. Those both worked perfect. The thing is, the first picture that crashed was the same subject material as my second picture, just a different pose. On top of it, because that first picture didn’t work the whole app crashes and closes out to home screen. If a picture isn’t going to work there should just be a pop-up that says unable to edit this picture. HAPPY - I love, love, love the window that pops up when you are selecting your areas because of exactly what it says, your finger is always in the way and you can’t see what you’re highlighting. Also, the fact that you can adjust the Bokeh affecting the mask are pretty awesome. For .99 it’s pretty decent, so far. It gives the effect I’ve been wanting. Thinking that all the iPhones from the 7 and up had portrait mode, I recently purchased the iPhone 8, only to find out that only the plus iPhones have portrait mode. 🙄 So to find this working to give the same idea, that makes me feel better. However, having only had the app for a very short time, I’ll have to see how many times I choose a photo that crashes the app compared to the ones that work. If most of the photos that I want to use the Bokeh effect on are not going to work then it pretty much defeats the purpose and becomes a waste of a dollar. I will update after some time using the app.

I have the iPhone 7 Plus and I’ve been wanting to take selfies portrait mode but my phone doesn’t have the feature, and now that I have this is works really well, obviously you have to fiddle with it and it’s what I have wanted for a while, plus if someone uses my phone to take a picture and and they don’t use he portrait mode I can just use this app to make it as similar to the portrait mode. Really happy with this!!!!!

I like the app because you can edit little details to focus but I’ve been waiting for a picture to save to my camera roll for about an hour and nothing has happened.

App doesn’t do anything and definitely doesn’t add any Bokeh effects. I was charged for an app that does nothing.

This app is easy to use and just works great. It turns regular photos into art.

It don’t let me edit some photos I want to edit I click on it and it turns black and crashes

Like the fact I can use the Selfie part.. kinda like portrait mode.. I have the 7 plus and kinda was bum out they didn't have it for the front camera but with this app helps a lot for me.. was even close to get a iPhone X just cause of that feature :)

Sooooo simple to use and perfect for its purpose. I don't even need to get the new iPhone now.

Does nothing

Doesn't do the Bokeh effect or even simulate it. This is a crap photo editor that does what MS Paint used to do. Clever marketing though. 1.3 stars.

What an easy fix for not having a slew of lenses. A little work, and can use a little improvement, but overall, an easy way to cheat carrying lots of camera equipment around. My friends think I'm not using my phone to take the photos I send them.

I just downloaded and started using. It is simple, clear and does a very good job. I want to take pictures all day now!

This app has something the native iPhone depth effect doesn't. Ability to Bokeh macro shots. Easy to use. Love the adjustable settings. **New update just puts this thing back on top. Saves native resolution now and feels a whole lot snappier. Still prefer it over native iPhone bokeh

This app is legit. I'm beyond impressed with the ease of use, and I'm super happy the developer updated the app so it now works with the latest iOS. I don't have a 7+, so this app definitely helps, and looks strikingly similar, to the "depth effect" on the 7+.

Very inaccurate capturing of the focus area. Difficult to draw the like oven with a pen. Waste of money.

Allows for me to make it seem like I am a professional photographer! However, this app is need of an update. I get a message now that says this app will slow down my phone!

Honestly, if you cannot afford the IPhone 7 plus but you are jealous about the "portrait mode" this is a good cheaper alternative

The App keeps crashing, and even after a fresh install you're notified that the App needs to be updated or it will slow down your device. The functionality once it's running is poor, the images are of low quality and the effect sad looking.

I used to use Filterstorm for Bokeh. This App is easier to use for this effect. I've been "Bokehing" all kinds of pictures. Nothing needs fixing. The complainers just don't want to bother to figure out how to use it.

I bought this as a 7 plus alternative to Bokeh effect. It's crashed 4 times in the first 15 mins. It hasn't been updated since 2014. Don't waste your 99 cents.

With this app you're not missing what the iPhone $ plus offers. Fun to mess with your pics. Wish you could scroll through photos.

In the past, I would use Photoshop to artificially add bokeh to my iPhone pics, in much of the same manner as this app does. However, with this app, I'm able to do it on my phone without having to use a desktop, and it simplifies the process to boot. Totally worth $1.

I'm having a ball playing with this thing! I would love to see an added Bokah ball effect with orbs, but this has gotten me all excited about photography again.

App needs improvement; selecting the subject(s) to remain in focus was easy. But an area (brighter than selected subject[s]) not selected remained in focus (the other areas not selected was out of focus).

I used to love this app, created many wonderful shots with blurred backgrounds. Now when I try to load a picture, the album titles appear, but none of the photos show, only blanks where the pics should be. If I tap one of the blanks, a random photo loads, but there is no way to know which photo will be loading. As it stands, this app is unusable now.

The first step is selecting a photo. Then you color in where you need to focus. Then you adjust the bokeh. And that's it! It's as simple as that! Such an amazing editor! If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to let you be able to change the size of the bokeh, but other than that it's absolutely awesome! Great app! I recommend it to anyone trying to take phone photos with bokeh. Totally worth the $1! I'm very happy with this app!

How can I get my money back?

Save your dollar and look else where. I'm pretty good with camera apps, but I couldn't get the effect you would hope for with this app. It just doesn't look that good. Like when you see a movie w cheap CGI, that's how this app is.

You need this app for insta! Perfection and super easy to use! Well worth the $1.
