Bokeh Lens App Reviews

Should be on every phone and tablet. Even my mom can use this app.

I didnt have the highest of hopes for this app. Even apps with decent reviews can be a let down but this one actually worked pretty well. Masking the portion of the image that needs to remain clear of the Bokeh effect can be a little time consuming, especially if the section is complex. I find it best done with a mesh tipped stylus or a Adonit Jot stylus. Once the masking is done, the adjustments give you enough control to get an effect that is pretty good. One thing Id really like to see is an iPad version. It would make masking easier and I do more photo editing on my iPad as it is. For 99¢ its hard to go wrong but this app is worthy of downloading if you need a way to fake Bokeh with a little work. Four Stars.

This app is so easy to use. A stylus is helpful if you have a lot of fiddly bits and angles to mask. Zoom and picture-in-picture are wonderfully done.

Itd be a great app....if it blurred the whole pic . It only does like a part of my picture. Like a rectangle on the left side is edited and the rest isnt ...makes it hard to do anything. Maybe Im just doing something wrong? Im not sure.

It gives good clean results that can subtly change your photo in an amazing way.

If you have a stylus it works amazing!! I edited a Xmas photo and my camera has a focus but not enough, it looks amazing now and an 5x7 Christmas photo is now on the stand!!! App really works!! You can change the bokeh and feathering! Its definitely worth .99c

This app makes Instagram and twitter pictures awesomer!

Love the look of the photos, but every time I try to save one the app crashes, so its pretty much useless. Hoping an update might fix that bc I do like the effects it can achieve.

It gives an easy way to make your photos look professional! Definitely worth it! I needed something like this for my photography! A must-have.

You can tell by my five stars that I gave that I think this is a good app, but i would like to suggest something to make it just a little bit better. My suggestion is to be able to adjust the feathering, and opacity of the brush while painting the focus. Thanks for reading!

I love this app but it has some flaws. Its really difficult to mask the object with no wand. Please add a wand or auto tool to mask more easily.

This app is a hidden gem for Mobile Photography. Given the iPhones already outstanding camera features combined with Bokeh Lens to expand depth of field makes it quite competitive with DSLR quality photos. If you take the time to tediously edit your photos focus points the results are well worth it. The only thing this app is lacking is a snap feature to expedite the editing process. Other than that this app is flawless and delivers convincing bokeh and takes your iPhone photography to the next level!

A simple, intuitive photo app that create depth and blurred backgrounds with ease. I have tried well over 10 photo apps paid or free and this is the best for me.

I would have loved to give Bokeh Lense a better review, but it turns out to be nothing but a disappointment. The feathering effect leaves lots of annoying noise and MAKES THE PICTURE LOOK FAKE. Have tried it on different pics, with the same results. This app needs some serious work, and as of right now is a complete fail.

This app is phenomenal, its my favorite photography app hands down and would pay good money for it to work again. Currently it does not function correctly on iPhone 6/6+ as when you draw your focus area and go to create bokeh, the picture gets completely distorted thus making this app worthless. Please fix it and it will instantly be a five stars. Sincerely, Jordan

This was a great app with iOS 7, with iPhone 4s, but now, the app leaves weird streaks and double images on the completed picture. Please update and make it work again, it used to make beautiful depth of field pics.
